The HummingBird Moth

Saw this little guy when I was walking out of my house to my back yard, so I rushed back in to get my Nikon d 800 with the nikon 60 mm lens on the camera.  I like the nikon 60mm lens because of the bokeh that it adds to the photo, this is the interesting way it renders out of focus light.   This was a bug that I was hoping I would see this summer.  This is a hummingbird moth and he  is so interesting with how he flies you would mistake him for a hummingbird with how he would fly by you so fast.  This is one weird looking insect.  Message me at tomseastcoastphotos.com if you would be interested in a print of this guy. fbhummingbirdmoth6730 fbhummingbirdmoth6744 fbhummingbirdmoth6749 fbhummingbirdmoth6751 fbhummingbirdmoth6755 fbhummingbirdmoth6757 fbhummingbirdmoth6763
